Kathryn M. Wright, 89, of Cleveland
Road, Granger, Ind., died at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4, in
her residence. She was born on May 27, 1908, in Bourbon, Ind., to
Everett and Mary (Young) Hall, who both preceded
her in death. She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter,
Theresa Wright; a great-granddaughter, Jamie Hummell;
three brothers, Wendell, Benjamin and Max Leroy Hall; and by a
sister, Dorothy Sellers.
On Nov. 23, 1933, in Columbia City, Ind., as
Kathryn M. Hall, she married Manford B. Wright, who
survives. She is also also survived by two sons, Lane A. Wright
of Granger and Cyrus C. Wright of South Bend, Ind.; five
grandchildren, Gary, Robert, Dwayne Wright, all of South Bend,
Bonnie Tyler of Granger and Elaine Hummell of South
Bend; five great-grandchildren; and by a brother, Arthur Hall of
Bourbon. Mrs. Wright was a seamstress for the Healthwin Hospital.
She was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church and the Harris
Township Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
Services will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday in
St. Pius X Catholic Church, Granger. Friends may call from 2 to 4
and 6 to 8 p.m. today in the Welsheimer Funeral Home North, 17033
Cleveland Road, South Bend. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley
Memorial Park, Granger. The family has requested that memorial
contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Disease and Related
Disorders Association, 919 E. Jefferson, South Bend, IN 46617.
