MISHAWAKA - Robert A. Workman, 75, of Currant Road, died at 10:35 p.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Hospital after an illness. Mr. Workman retired in 1976 from Express Freight Lines, Milwaukee, as a truck driver after 40 years of service. He was born Aug. 30, 1919, in South Bend.

On June 25, 1940, in South Bend, he married Theresa Johnson. She survives with a daughter, Fawn Rozek of Mishawaka; a son, Neil of Lakeville; three grandsons; a sister, Mildred Wertz of Plymouth; and a brother, Arthur of Mishawaka. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars post, Indianapolis, American Legion Post 0777, Indianapolis, and Teamsters local union, Milwaukee, and was a veteran of World War II.

There will be no services or visitation. Cremation will take place. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Bubb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
