Osceola – Mrs. Berniece C, Wordinger, 76, of 421 Superior St., died Friday in Melrose Manor Nursing Home, South Bend. She had been ill nine months.

She was born Feb. 21, 1898, in Donaldson, Ind. She had lived in Osceola since 1933, coming from Wyatt.

She was married to Edward C. Wordinger. He died in 1972.

Surviving are four sons, Leonard B., Muncie, Otho V., Vandalia, Mich., Gerald E., Bristol, and Kenneth L., Osceola; one daughter Mrs. Carl (Elvera) Schalliol, Mishawaka; 19 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister. Mrs. Charles Conard, Mishawaka.

Services were at 11 a.m. today at Warner Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Fritz of Osceola United Methodist Church officiating.

Burial was in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
