Frances Pauline Woofter, 90, of Pin Oak
East, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away following an illness at 2:30
a.m. on Monday, March 1.
She was born on Aug. 18, 1908, to Lon and
Etta Davis.
On Sept. 1, 1928, in South Bend, Ind., she
married Lawrence Woofter, who died in 1967. She was also preceded
in death by a sister, Evelyn Thompson in 1977; and by a brother,
Arthur Davis in 1963.
She is survived by a son, Eugene C. Woofter
of Mishawaka; a daughter, Delores Maxine (Neil) Trump of Mt.
Vernon, Ind.; her grandchildren, Michael (Vicki) Trump of Sleepy
Hollow, Ill., and William (Tammy) Trump of Mount Vernon; her
great-grandchildren, Aaron Trump, Whitney Trump, Courtney Trump
and Jordan Trump; a brother, William Davis of Fort Myers, Fla.;
and by her sisters, Bryle Fisher of Carbondale, Ill., and Melba
Klinger of Hazelwood, Mo.
Mrs. Woofter was a member of the Evangel
Heights United Methodist Church, South Bend. She retired from the
Uniroyal Corporation in 1968 after 30 years as a production
worker.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on
Wednesday at the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 North Main
Street, Mishawaka, where services will be held at 1 p.m. on
Thursday, with the Rev. Ed. Fitz officiating. Burial will follow
at Highland Cemetery, South Bend.
