MISHAWAKA - Peggy J. Woodworth, 55, of East 9th Street, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away after an illness at 12:25 p.m. on Saturday, May 24, in St. Joseph Community Hospital, Mishawaka.

Mrs. Woodworth was born on June 21, 1941, in Mishawaka, and had lived in this area all of her life. She was employed by the H & A Selmer Corporation, Elkhart, Ind., for 37 years.

On Aug. 6, 1960, in Mishawaka, as Peggy J. Hesch, she married Damon ''Woody'' Woodworth, who survives. She is also survived by two sons, Brent C. Woodworth and Brian W. Woodworth, both of Mishawaka; her mother, Francis Hesch of Bremen, Ind.; a sister, Pam K. Berkey of Bremen; a brother, Rick W. Hesch of Lakeville, Ind.; and by a grandson, Brett C. Woodworth.

Peggy was preceded in death by her father, William Hesch in 1981.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, with Rev. Karl A. Brenner officiating. Burial will follow in Southlawn Cemetery, Mishawaka.
