Brent LaTay Woods, 19, who resided on VanBuren Street, South Bend, Ind., passed away at 6 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 1, 2001. Brent was born in Dowagiac, Mich., on April 20, 1982, to Delphia Woods and Kim Smith. Coming from Niles, Mich., he had lived in South Bend since April of this year. Loving family members who survive include one daughter, LaTayja C. Woods; a son, Tyree Griffin; his parents, Delphia Woods and Kim (Annette) Smith; one sister, LaTasha Woods; one brother, Latwon Smith; and his maternal grandfather, Jim Woods, all of South Bend, Ind.; along with other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, in Bethlehem Baptist Church, with Reverend Hardy Petty officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service in the church. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to ALFORD'S MORTUARY.
