Mrs. Martha A.
Wollering.
Mrs. Martha A. Wollering, 1124 Diamond Ave., died in her home at 1:30 a.m.
Wednesday after a six-month illness. She was born in Harbor Beach, Mich.,
Feb. 27, 1886, and came to South Bend from Detroit, Mich., 28 years ago.
On Oct. 12, 1918, she was married to Werner L. Wollering, who died in May,
1950. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. James J. Curran, Highland, Ind.,
and Mrs. Louise G. Bogue, Sopth Bend; three grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Etta
Kruck, Detroit, and two brothers, Arthur Glatz, Detroit, and Rhine Glatz, Bad
Axe, Mich. Friends may call Thursday in the Orvis Funeral Home.
Services will be conducted in St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church at 2 p. m.
Saturday by Rev. E. W. Broders, pastor. The body will lie in the church
from 12:30 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens,
Mishawaka. Mrs. Wollering was a member of St. Paul's
Church.
