Wojcik may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday and one hour before the
service at 1 p.m. Friday, all at Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral
Home. The Rev. Richard Dunn will officiate. The body will be
cremated. Mr. Wojcik, 52, of 53938 Kershner Lane, died at 9:55
a.m. Monday (Feb. 24, 2003) in his home. He was born April 3,
1950, in South Bend to Stanley and Irene (Rzepka) Wojcik and
married Karen L. Storlie on Sept. 27, 1986, in Elkhart. She
survives. Also surviving are two stepsons, Matthew R. Williams of
Hot Springs, Ark., and Michael T. Williams of Little Rock, Ark.;
his mother, of South Bend; and three sisters, Michaelene Wojcik
of South Bend, Mrs. Michael (Janet) Johnson of Anthony N.M., and
Mrs. Kenton (Judy) Wojcik-Hall of Muncie. Mr. Wojcik, a graduate
of Indiana University, earned a degree in history and worked as a
furniture and antique conservator for James Madison Furniture
Stripping and Refinishing. He also had been a substitute teacher
in the 1980s for Elkhart Community Schools. He was a member
and past president of Eagles Lodge 395 and enjoyed fishing,
gardening and reading. Memorials may be given to the Salvation
Army.
