Marie R. Wlodarski, 75, of Chicago
Street, South Bend, Ind., died following a brief illness at 8:10
a.m. on Wednesday, April 28, in Saint Joseph's Regional Medical
Center, South Bend. Mrs. Wlodarski retired in 1984 from the
Bendix Corporation after 45 years of employment. She was born to
John and Florence (Andrysiak) Przybylski on Jan.
31, 1924, in South Bend, and was a lifelong resident. She was
preceded in death by her parents, and by a brother, Frank
Przybylski.
On Jan. 31, 1948, as Marie R. Przybylski,
she married Henry M. Wlodarski in St. Adalbert's Church, South
Bend. He also preceded her in death in September 1976. She is
survived by a daughter, Christine A. (Gary) Van Dusen of
Ozark, Ala.; a grandson, Michael R. Van Dusen of Ozark; two
sisters, Alice Miller and Victoria McGrew, both of
South Bend; and by two brothers, Bert Przybylski of South Bend
and John Przybylski of St. Petersburg, Fla.
Mrs. Wlodarski belonged to St. John the
Baptist Catholic Parish, Women of the Moose Chapter #1057, and
United Auto Workers (UAW) Local #9.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1
p.m. on Saturday, May 1, in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church,
with Rev. Terry E. Place officiating. Interment will follow in
St. Joseph Polish Roman Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call from
2 to 8 p.m. today, April 30, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545
N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, where a Rosary will be recited at 7
p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer
Society of St. Joseph County, 525 W. Edison Road, Mishawaka, IN
46545. Contributions will be used for breast cancer education and
assistance in the community
