Theresa Wisniewski, 99, of Catalpa Drive in Mishawaka, passed away early Saturday, November 12, 2005. Theresa was born on November 2, 1906, to John and Elizabeth (Wendowski) Herman, who preceded her in death. Theresa was also preceded in death by her husband, Leo Wisniewski, who passed away on February 14, 1974. Theresa and Leo were married on February 2, 1927.

They had three daughters who survive, Leona Brandt of South Bend, Lorraine (William) Scheu of South Bend and Geraldine Maenhout of Mishawaka. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. One great-grandchild preceded Theresa in death.

Theresa retired as a supervisor at the St. Michael's Laundry at Notre Dame in 1972 after 37 years of service. She was a member of St. Casimir's Catholic Church and the Senior Citizens of St. Casimir's.

Visitation will be on Monday, November 14, 2005, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Road, South Bend, IN 46619, where a Rosary will be prayed at 4:00 p.m. Services will be Tuesday, November 15, 2005, at 10:00 a.m. in St. Casimir Catholic Church. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend, IN.
