SOUTH BEND - Larry Bernard Wisniewski,
51, of South Bend, Ind., died at 2:10 p.m. on Thursday, May 22,
in Hospice House, South Bend. Mr. Wisniewski was born on Oct. 18,
1945, in Mieleszyn, Poland. He had been a resident of South Bend
since June 6, 1949. He was an employee of Consolidated
Freightways.
On Dec. 4, 1971, Larry married Patricia
Allyn O'Parker, who survives. He is also survived by two
daughters, Karen Marie of Louisville, Ky., and Mary Ann at home;
his parents, Bernard and Stella Wisniewski of South Bend; a
sister, Bonnie Ujdak of Mishawaka, Ind.; and by several
nieces and nephews.
Mr. Wisniewski was a member of Teamsters
Union Locals 354, 414, 719 and 299 for 27 years, and he was a
member of St. Matthew Cathedral. He served in the Third Armored
Division of the U.S. Army in Frankfort, Germany, and received his
honorable discharge on Feb. 7, 1969.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
on Monday at the St. Joseph Funeral Home. A Rosary will be said
at 3 p.m. on Monday. Services will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at
St. Matthew Cathedral, with burial to follow in St. Joseph
Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St.
