Mrs. Rebecca Winsor, 83, of 421 Chamberlain Drive, died at 2:45pm Monday in Memorial Hospital after an extended illness.

She was born March 10, 1886, in Bay Roberts, Newfoundland, and lived here since 1957, coming from Boston.  On April 24, 1916, in Chelsea MA, she was married to Frank M. Winsor, who survives.  Also surviving are a son, Alan M. of Wayland MA; three daughters, Mrs. Ervin Clipp, Mrs. John L. Miller, and Mrs. Walter Ross, all of South Bend; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Friends may call after noon Wednesday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home where services will be conducted at 2pm Thursday.  Rev. Charles Ellinwood, pastor of St Paul’s Memorial United Methodist Church will officiate.  Burial will be in St Joseph Valley Memorial Park.  She was a member of St Paul’s United Memorial United Methodist Church.
