Gale A. Winrote, 82, of South Bend,
passed away 6:30 a.m. November 8, 2006, in the Fountainview Place
Health Care Center, Mishawaka. Gale was born in South Bend on
January 28, 1924, to the late Arnold and Catherine (Talbert)
Winrote.
On May 12th, 1951, he married Natalie Moshak
in Mishawaka, who survives, along with a son, Kurt Winrote of
South Bend, and a sister, Neva J. (Darwin) Dunning of
Mishawaka. Gale was a salesman for the Nichols Bakery for 36
years, then worked for Lowe's for the last 10 years. Gale was a
World War II veteran in the Army, a member of local Teamsters
465, and was a member of the choir in Good Shepherd Lutheran
Church of South Bend.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
Friday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka.
Funeral services will take place in the Good Shepherd Lutheran
Church of South Bend on Saturday, November 11, at 11:00 a.m.,
with Rev. Kenneth Peterson officiating. Burial will be at Chapel
Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Osceola.
