Patrick J. Winkler lost his battle with leukemia on Saturday, Dec. 30, 2000 in his home in South Bend, Ind. He is formerly of Houghton Lake, Mich. His father preceded him in death Aug. 2, 1982.

He is survived by his fiancée, Tina Rairigh and her children, Ryan and Jessica, and by his mother, Mary Winkler, of Houghton Lake, Mich.; also by his two sons, Kyllan and family of Elkhart, Ind., Casey of Dallas, Ore.; and a daughter, Adrienne of Plymouth, Ind. He is also survived by two brothers, Harvey and Clifford and their families, of Prudenville, Mich.; as well as his sister, Maggie Bezart, and family of Aptos, Calif.; and by a special sister, Heather Lapham of Cadillac, Mich.

Mr. Winkler was employed by Centennial Wireless, as an outside sales representative.

A memorial gathering will be held at a later date. Arrangements were made by Welsheimer's Funeral Home.
