Mrs. Bertha S. Wiltfong, 97, of 210 S. Arch, New Carlisle, died at 4:05 am today in LaPorte Hospital. She was ill six months. She was born on Nov. 22, 1881, in New Carlisle, and lived there all her life. On Nov. 22, 1905, she married Joseph B. Wiltfong in Mishawaka. He died in 1950. Surviving are a son, Albert W. of New Carlisle; eight grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren. Services will be at 1 pm Saturday in the New Carlisle Community Church. Rev. Ernest Geist, the pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in New Carlisle Cemetery.  Friends may call from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm Friday in the H.C. Amen and Son Funeral Home, New Carlisle. She was a charter member of the Community Church and a member of the Mothers of World War II of New Carlisle. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
