Marjorie L. Wilson, 89, passed away on Wednesday, July 14, in the Ironwood Health and Rehabilitation Center in South Bend, Ind.

The former Marjorie Smith was born on Oct. 11, 1909, in Grass Creek, Ind., to Oliver Smith and Mary Ellen (Greer) Smith. She moved to the South Bend area in 1927 where she resided with her husband, Chester Wilson, who preceded her in death in 1960. Mrs. Wilson was also preceded in death by a son, Mark Wilson in 1978; a brother, Joseph Smith; and by five sisters, Vivian Tampas, Esther Rice, Frieda Robison, Mabel Sherman and Gladys Casteel.

Family and friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today, July 20, in the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home. Services will be at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, July 21, in the funeral home, with burial following in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park
