SOUTH BEND - Madelyn V. (Copp) Wilson, 88, of Brandon, Fla., formerly of South Bend, died May 14 in her daughter's Bandon home. Mrs. Wilson was born July 8, 1906, in South Bend, moving to Florida in 1987.

In 1935, in South Bend, as Madelyn Copp, she married John H. Wilson. He died in 1963. Surviving are a daughter, Barbara Wilson of Brandon, with whom she lived; a brother, Chester L. Copp of Lake Wales, Fla., and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and an American Red Cross volunteer.

Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Hillsborough, Tampa, Fla. Zipperer's Agape Mortuary and Crematory, Ruskin, Fla., is in charge of arrangements.
