Mrs. Lawrence E. Wills, 77, 1325 McKinley Avenue, died at 8:30 PM Thursday after a long illness.  She was a lifetime resident of South Bend.  She was married September 2, 1883 [WRONG this is her birth date!] to Leo J. Wills who died at 1925.  She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. George R. McNeile, with whom she lived; two sisters, Mrs. Walter Good of Los Angeles, and Miss Pearl Brown, South Bend; and three granddaughters.  Friends may call after 7 PM Saturday at the Walsh -- Bilancio Colonial Chapel, 3718 South Michigan Street.  Funeral services will be at 9:30 AM Monday at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Rev. Thomas F. Payton, CSC officiating.  Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.  The Rosary will be recited at 8 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
