Mrs. Willie M. Williams, 50, beloved
wife, mother, daughter and sister who resided in Columbus, Ohio,
went home to be with the Lord on Monday, Dec. 11, 2000. On Dec.
9, 1950, in South Bend, Ind., she was born to the union of Willie
and Verneader Robinson. She was preceded in death by her
father, Willie Robinson; and by her sister, Rose Robinson-Coleman.
After graduating from Washington High School, she went on to
Indiana State University where she received her bachelor of
science degree. Following her career path, she was employed by
the Franklin County Department on Aging. In 1964 she accepted
Christ and united with the Greater Friendship Baptist Church,
South Bend. After moving to Columbus, she joined the Friendship
Missionary Baptist Church in 1980, where she was faithful in her
worship and praise, was a member of the Loyal Ladies Ministry,
and served as assistant church clerk. Loving family members who
will cherish her memory include her devoted husband of more than
21 years, R. Darryl Williams; two sons, Reginald D. Williams II
and Kalen R. Williams; her mother, Verneader Robinson of
South Bend; two brothers, Eugene Robinson of Detroit and Richard
Robinson of South Bend; along with a host of other relatives and
friends.
Graveside services for Mrs. Williams will be
held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 18, at Highland Cemetery, South
Bend. Alford's Mortuary has been entrusted with arrangements.
