SOUTH BEND - Steven W. Williams, 49, of South Bend, IN passed away unexpectedly March 5, 2008, in his residence. Born February 23, 1959, in South Bend, he was the son of Richard (Anna Malone) Williams of South Bend, and Doris (Dan) Kaizer of South Bend. Along with his parents, he is survived by his beloved wife, Penni Williams; daughter, Kelly (Eric) LaLone of LaPorte, IN; son, Todd Williams of North Carolina; sister, Marcia Williams of Elkhart; brother, Richard (Sherri) Williams of Rolling Prairie; and a grandson, Connor LaLone who had a special place in his heart.

Steve was an employee of Sam's Club for the past five years, previously working as a painting contractor. A graduate of LaSalle High School he lived in South Bend his entire life.

Cremation will take place. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, March 8, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the McGann Hay, University Chapel on Edison Rd. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Foundation for Diabetes Research, 513 W. Mt. Pleasant Ave., Suite 220, Livingston, NJ 07039.
