BEND - Pauline Williams, 72,
of Dresden Drive, South Bend, Ind., passed away at 2:46 a.m. on
Thursday, April 24, in St.
Joseph Community Hospital, Mishawaka, Ind.
Mrs.
Williams retired from the former Goldblatt's Department
Store where she was employed for 20 years.
She was
born on Aug. 19, 1924, in South
Bend, to Frank and Josephine
Nowak, who both preceded her in death.
On July 12, 1969,
as Pauline Wallace, she married Richard Williams, who
survives. She is also survived by two daughters, Paula
Jean Flanagan and Susan Wallace, both of Mishawaka; two
sons, Raymond Wallace of St. Petersburg, Fla., and James
Wallace of Mishawaka; eight grandchildren; five sisters,
Camille Martindale of Syracuse, Ind., Henrietta Janowski
of South Bend, Alice Strozewski of Osceola, Ind., Lucille
Baldoni of Mishawaka and Patricia DeMarco of New
Carlisle, Ind.; and by a brother, Francis J. Nowak of
South Bend.
Mrs.
Williams was a member of the 600 Bowlers Club.
Visitation
will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Sunday in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 S. Kemble Avenue, where a parish rosary will be recited
at 6:30 p.m.
Services
will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Monday in Our Lady of Hungary
Catholic Church, with Rev. Anthony Letko officiating.
Cremation will follow.
Memorial
contributions may be made to Ancilla Home Care or to the
American Cancer Society.
