GRANGER - Patricia Ann "Patty" Williams, 63, of
Granger, died Saturday morning in her home. Patty was born June
5, 1945, in Mishawaka, to James F. and Wanda Lee (Patrick)
Gilstrap, who preceded her in death along with a brother,
James P. Gilstrap. Patty received her BA degree from Western
Michigan University and her Teachers Certification from Indiana
University at South Bend. Patty was a former school teacher for
28 years at Grissom Middle School in Mishawaka, IN. She was
married on December 1, 1978, in Community Congregational Church,
South Bend, IN, to H. Randall Williams, who survives along with a
daughter, Nichole (Williams) Morrison of Indianapolis; two
sons, Stephen James Szklarek and David John Szklarek, both
of Granger. Patty is survived by eight grandchildren, Ashley,
Ryan, Melanie, Benjamin, Grace and Sydney Szklarek, Jonathan D.
and Kennedi Morrison.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22, in the HICKEY Funeral Homes, 17131 Cleveland Road, with Rev. Lloyd Phillips officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park in Granger. Friends may call 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society,
