Mrs. Deforest Williams  

Mrs. Hilda Williams, 60, of 51048 Kenilworth Rd., died at 11:47 p.m. Sunday in Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. A registered practical nurse at Healthwin Hospital she was born on Dec. 10, 1907, in Kimmel, Ind. On March 13, 1943, in Horry County, S.C. she was married to Deforest Williams, who survives. Also surviving are a son David C. at home; a daughter, Mrs. Walter Wegenka Jr., of South Bend; five grandchildren; a brother, Verlin Saltzgaber, of Albion, Ind; and two sisters, Mrs. Edna Booher and Mrs. Eleanor Dueche, both of South Bend. Services were to have been in Highland Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Joseph County Cancer Society.
