Mrs. Helen Williams

March 29, 1905 – July 5, 1966

Mrs. Helen Williams, 61, of 1040 Oak St., an employee in The Tribune cafeteria, was dead on arrival at 6:45 pm Tuesday at Memorial Hospital after suffering an apparent heart attack.

She was born on March 29, 1905, in Lowell IN, and came to South Bend 45 years ago from there.  Her husband, Louis E. Williams, died on July 20, 1962.  She had been employed at The Tribune for nine years.  She is survived by a son, Jack, of South Bend, and two grandchildren.

Friends may call after noon Thursday at the Forest G. Hay and Son Funeral Home, where services will be held at 10:30am Friday.  Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.  Rev. Louis Reynolds, pastor of Trinity Grace parish with officiate.
