MISHAWAKA - Harry Earl Williams, 72,
of 621 W. Lawrence St., died at 2:58 p.m. Friday in his home. Mr.
Williams retired in 1979 from Uniroyal after 33 years of service
and was formerly an engineer at Boeing Aircraft. He was born Feb.
22, 1921, in Grand Rapids, and moved to this area in 1945 from
Seattle.
On June 20, 1942, in Seattle, he married
Maxine R. Dailey. She survives with two daughters, Sharon Menczynski
and Betty D. Klosinski, both of South Bend; four sons,
James E. of Chambersburg, Pa., Timothy A. of Torrington, Conn.,
Paul A. of Elkhart and Mark G. of South Bend; 16 grandchildren;
and four great-grandchildren. A son, Robert Bruce, preceded him
in death. He was a member of St. Michael's Episcopal Church,
South Bend.
Memorial services will be at 1:30 p.m.
Monday in the church. Cremation will take place. There will be no
visitation. Hollis-Orvis-Palmer Funeral Home, South Bend, is in
charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to
American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
