SOUTH BEND - Services for Harrison
Williams, 78, of 133 N. Illinois St., who died of natural
causes at 2:48 p.m. Thursday in St. Joseph Medical Center, will
be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will
be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call an hour prior to
services at the church. Clark's Funeral Chapel is in charge of
arrangements.
Mr. Williams retired from Allied Signal
Corp. He was born April 1, 1915, in Rison, Ark., and lived in
this area since 1948, coming from Flint, Mich. On Aug. 5, 1942,
in Rison, he married Alvie Lee Darrough. She survives with
a sister, Rosie Lee Morris of Rison; and four brothers,
Hubert and Issac Williams, both of Flint, Charlie Williams of
Hamburg, Ark. and Linsey Williams of Kennett, Mo. Mr. Williams
was a member of the church, and its Usher Board and Trustee
Board. He was a Army veteran of World War II.
