SOUTH BEND - David E. Williams, 39, of South Bend, died at 10:35
AM on May 8, 2010, in Hospice House following an illness. His
parents, Larry and Artie Williams, nephew, Orlando Navarrete, and
his Grandpa, Faye Winfree, preceded him in death. He is survived
by one brother, John Williams of Granger; three sisters, Kimberly
Williams of South Bend, Aimee Williams of Mishawaka and Jennifer
(Romulo) Navarrete of Granger; four nieces, Ashlee Williams,
Cynthia and Olivia Navarrete, and Christine Codor; two nephews,
Ryan and Felix Navarrete; and his Grandma, Doris Winfree of
Springfield, MO. David was a fun-loving guy who was outgoing and
happy. He loved people and animals, and especially his TV and
radio. He leaves a lot of friends and family behind. We would
like to thank Bruce Haynes of Logan Center for being there for
David with love, help and support through all the years. Also,
very special thanks go to all the staff from A.W.S. who helped
take care of David. He will be missed dearly. Services will be
held on Friday in St. Peter's United Church of Christ from 10
AM-noon. God looked around His garden And He found an empty
place. And then He looked down upon the earth, And saw your tired
face. He put his arms around you, And lifted you to rest. God's
garden must be beautiful He always takes the best. He knew that
you were suffering, He knew you were in pain, He knew that you
would never Get well on earth again. He saw the road was getting
rough, And the hills were hard to climb, So He closed your weary
eyelids, And whispered, "Peace be thine." It broke our
hearts to lose you, But you didn't go alone, For part of us went
with you, The day God called you home.
