SOUTH BEND - Wanda Darlene Wilkins, 81, of Southfield
Village, formerly of McKinley Hwy., Mishawaka, passed away at
7:45 a.m. Sunday, May 4th, in Southfield Village. Wanda was born
December 19, 1926, in Queen City, Missouri, to the late Lawrence
D. and Beulah (McBee) Neagle. On February 2, 1945,
in Kirksville, Missouri, Wanda (Neagle) married Dr. Robert E.
Wilkins, who survives. Also surviving are her daughter, Tammy
(Dana) Wagemaker of Eau Claire, MI; her sons, Kevin S.
(Kim) Wilkins of Irmo, South Carolina; three grandchildren,
Heather Wagemaker, Jacob Wagemaker and Kyle Wilkins. Wanda had
worked at Signature Marketing for 13 years. She was a member of
Eastern Star St. Joseph Chapter #569 and White Shrine of
Jerusalem Messiah Shrine #10.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m.
Thursday, May 8th, in the Welsheimer Family Funeral Home, 17033
Cleveland Road, South Bend, with Rev. James Campbell officiating.
Burial will follow at Saint Joseph Valley Memorial Park Cemetery,
Granger. Friends may visit with the family from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8
p.m. on Wednesday, May 7th, in the funeral home. In Wanda's
memory, contributions may be made to Saint Joseph Regional
Medical Center-Mishawaka, 215 West 4th Street, Mishawaka, IN
46544.
