MISHAWAKA - On Friday February 19, 2010, Sharon went with her
angels. She passed at home surrounded by her loving family,
covered in our kisses and damp with our tears. She fought long
and hard to stay with us, always with courage, dignity, and her
unforgettable sense of humor. Sharon was born in Kendallville,
In. to Walter Ray (Mike) and Opal M. (Pat) Nesbitt who preceded
her in death. Sharon worked hard all of her life building
tractors at Wheel Horse in South Bend, until they closed. She
recently retired from AM General where she was a welder at the
Hummer plant. God gave Sharon strong shoulders to carry the heavy
burdens that life often placed on her and her family. She lived
her life simply and with virtue. She said what she meant and
meant what she said. If you knew Sharon, you loved her. She often
gave beyond her means, so that others would not be without.
Sharon leaves behind a wonderful family to which she was
dedicated and very proud of. She is survived by her sister Nancy
Maul, two sons John Michael Fisher (Danni Jo) and Kirk Miller;
three grandchildren John Daniel Fisher (Angela), Joseph Fisher
(Christina), and Jessica Apple (Eddie); four great grand
children; Giovanna Fisher, John Luca Fisher, Madilyn Apple and
Maria Yoder. She will also be anxiously awaiting the births of
two more great grand children. Missing Sharon are her loving
sister Nancy Maul who cared for her day and night, her niece
Carrie Smalley, her nephew Dave Smalley, her special Karen
Alcaraz, her faithful companion for many years, Buddy, and her
two kitties Jazzy and Lily. Special thanks to Jennifer Kawell,
Sharon Payette, Pastors Warren and Dennis for their wonderful,
blessed presence. To the Michiana Hematology Oncology group, we
will forever be grateful: Lana, Kelly, Mary, Dr. Taber and SHARON
KLINGERMAN, thank you for your attention, concern, and love. You
made Sharon feel special. People may not remember your words, but
they'll never forget how you made them feel. Visitation will take
place from 4 until 6pm on Saturday, March 6th at Bubb Funeral
Chapel, 3910 North Main Street, Mishawaka, with a service to be
held at 6 pm. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that
donations be made to St. Jude
Children's Research Hospital fund.
