SOUTH BEND – Gene W. Wilcox Jr, 42, of 55443 Grandview Avenue, died at 9:10am today in Memorial Hospital of natural causes.  Mr. Wilcox was president of Gene’s Pest Control.

He was born June 2, 1946, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident.  On May 28, 1965, in South Bend, he married Kathleen Walters, who survives.  Also surviving are a son, Brian at home; two brothers, Douglas A. of South Bend and Ronald S. of Osceola; and his mother, Constance of South Bend.  His father, Gene W., died September 7, 1988.  He was a member of National Pest Control Association, Indiana Pest Control Association and the South Bend Snowmobile Club.

Memorial services will be announced at a later date.  Cremation arrangements are being handled by Bubb Funeral Chapel, Mishawaka.  Friends may call form 2 to 9pm Sunday in Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or any charity.
