Mrs. Mary O. Wike, 70 years old, 315 East Broadway, died Tuesday evening at 9:15 o'clock after an illness of one year with a complication of diseases.  She was the daughter of the late Alva Wells, a prominent manufacturer of this city.  Surviving are two children, D. A. Wike and Miss Grace Wike, both of this city; two brothers, Elmer E. Wells, of this city, and Edward Wells of Peoria, Illinois; and two sisters, Mrs. Rosie Foote, of Evanston, Wyoming, and Mrs. Dell Primrose, of Detroit, MI Mrs. Wike was born in Avaco, New York, February 28, 1849, and came here from Avaco 51 years ago.  Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the residence, Rev. B. D. Beck, of Grace M. E. church, officiating.  Burial will be in the city Cemetery.
