Anna Mae Widup
May 14, 1925 - May 3, 2001
Anna Mae Widup, 75, of Clover Road, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away following an illness at 3:20 p.m. Thursday, May 3, in her residence.
She was born May 14, 1925, in Mish-awaka, to Wilfred and Vauna Krone-witter, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Wilfred Kronewitter Jr. in 1943 and Lewis Kronewitter in 1980.
On July 1, 1943, in Mishawaka, she married Donald E. Widup, who survives. She is also survived by a daughter, Lora Beth (Ben) Galicia of Mishawaka; two grandchildren, Elizabeth Ann Galicia and Benjamin J. Galicia, both of Mishawaka; and by a brother, Eldon (Gloria) Kronewitter of South Bend, Ind.
Mrs. Widup was the aunt to many loving nieces and nephews. She was a woman of strong religious faith, and was a very kind and compassionate person who will be greatly missed. She was a member of Mishawaka Grace Brethren Church. Mrs. Widup worked at Uniroyal Corporation Local 65 as office manager until her retirement in 1992.
Funeral services for Mrs. Widup will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, May 7, in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 North Main Street, Mishawaka, where friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today. Officiating the service will be Dr. Kevin D. Zuber of the Mishawaka Grace Brethren Church. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.
