MISHAWAKA - Ardys F. Whitt, 68, of 819 Webster St., died at 1:30 p.m. Sunday of natural causes in her home. Mrs. Whitt was born April 27, 1926, in Mishawaka and was a lifelong area resident.

On June 30, 1946, in Mishawaka, as Ardys Baidinger, she married Walter D. Whitt. He died Dec. 28, 1993. She is survived by a daughter, Peggy Whitt of Mishawaka; three grandchildren; and a brother, Joseph W. Baidinger of Angola, Ind. A daughter, Janice Whitt, died in 1980, and a son, Joseph, died in 1971. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St. Memorial contributions may be made to Joseph and Janet Whitt Scholarship Fund in care of the church.
