MISHAWAKA - Services for Ralph G. Whittaker, 93, of 530 W. Tanglewood Lane, who died at 8 p.m. Tuesday in Fountainview Place, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St. Burial will be in Bremen Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.

Mr. Whittaker retired in 1969 from Wheelabrator-Frye Corp. as superintendent of the steel shop after 42 years of service. He was born Sept. 23, 1900, in Bremen, and was a lifelong area resident.

In 1921, in Bremen, he married Mary Montague. She died in 1967. He is survived by four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Dolly Wagley of Bremen, Laura Wagley of Niles, Bernice Phillips of Oregon, and Grace Motz of Plymouth. Two sons, Max and Richard, preceded him in death.
