David A. Whitlow

David A. Whitlow, 41, of Edison Road, Mishawaka, died at 5 a.m. Monday February 5 in Howe, Indiana. Dave was born in South Bend on May 18, 1959. He is survived by his father, B. Ray Whitlow of Naples, Florida and his mother, Marilyn (Pickett) Whitlow of Mishawaka.

Dave married the former, Paula K. Scheetz in Mishawaka on September 4, 1982, she survives along with a daughter, Rachele age 13; two sons, Andrew age 8 and Hunter age 1, all of Mishawaka. He is also survived by a sister, Linda (Craig) Nelson of Elkhart.

Dave had been employed as a ironworker with C. E. Toland & Sons of California. He was a member of the Ironworkers Local #377 in San Francisco for 20 years. Dave was currently working for T.M.C. Trucking of Des Moines, Iowa. Dave was a very loving and extremely dedicated husband, father, son and brother, who placed his family above all else. His family life and children were his pride and joy. His love and caring will be carried forever in our hearts.

Friends may call from noon to 2 Thursday, February 8, in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the trust fund for Rachele, Andrew and Hunter at First Source Bank.
