Effie P. Whitfield; Sept. 28, 1894 – May 19, 1987

WHITFIELD – Services for Effie P. Whitfield, 92, of 1250 Fairington Circle, South Bend, Ind., who died at 3 a.m. Tuesday at the home of her son in Niles, Mich., will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Salem Baptist Church, Mortons Gap, Ky.  Burial will be in Salem Cemetery, Mortons Gap.  Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today in Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home and 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday in Reid Walters Funeral Home, Earlington, Ky.  Mrs. Whitfield was born Sept. 28, 1894 in Christian County, Ky.
