Roseanna White, 81, of East LaSalle, South Bend, Ind., passed away at 11:15 a.m. Monday, Feb. 17, in the Cardinal Nursing Center. Mrs. White was born on Oct. 29, 1921, in Kokomo, Ind., to Finley and Mildred (Bringham) Irelan.

On June 20, 1941, in Argos, Ind., as the former Roseanna Irelan, she married Hovert White, who preceded her in death in 1990. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Ella Mae, and by a brother, Orville Irelan. Mrs. White is survived by a brother, Henry Irelan. Mrs. White was a longtime area resident. She was a homemaker and a waitress.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 21, in the Palmer Funeral Homes-River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave, South Bend. Chaplain Steve Nani will officiate. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka, Ind. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. in the Palmer Funeral Home-River Park. Contributions in memory of Roseanna White may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
