GRANGER - Junes P. White, 80, of Darden Road, Granger,
passed away following an illness in Hospice House, South Bend. He
was born June 11, 1927, in Tennessee, to Malcolm and Irene (McGill)
White.
On December 10, 1954, in Denver, Indiana, he
married the former Shirley Losher, who survives with two
daughters, Jeanne (Robert) Hendricks of South Bend and
Lori (William) Sullivan of Granger. Also surviving are his
grandchildren, Patrick Keller and Jamie Sullivan, both of
South Bend, and Adam Sullivan of Mishawaka; three brothers,
Joseph White of New Albany, Indiana, Jerry White of Sellersburg,
Indiana, and Joel White of Georgetown, Indiana; and a sister,
Connie House of Lanesville, Indiana. Mr. White retired in
1986 after working for 35 years at Uniroyal. He was a veteran of
the Army Air Corps. He was an avid golfer and competed every year
with his sons-in-law and grandson in Father and Son golf outings.
He loved to fish, especially at his lake property on Dewart Lake.
Funeral services for Mr. White will be held
at 11:00 a.m. Thursday in Bubb Funeral Chapel, where friends will
be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will
follow the services at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. The
