SOUTH BEND - Glidis Jewel White, 93, of Cloyd Street, South Bend, Ind., died at 2:15 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 6, in the Bremen Health Care Center, Bremen, Ind. She was born on Oct. 31, 1904, in Wayne County, Tenn.

On Sept. 26, 1926, in Wayne County, she married George A. White, who survives. She is also survived by a daughter, Shirley Lukavich of Peoria, Ill.; five sons, R. Calvin, Aaron, V. Ray, all of South Bend, and John B. and Vernon of Syracuse, Ind.; and by 15 grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday in the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 435 S. Ironwood, with Rev. Don Neely officiating. Interment will follow in Sumption Prairie Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday in the funeral home.
