MISHAWAKA - Starlene M. Wheeler, 40, of Dogwood Road, died at 4:30 a.m. Tuesday in Memorial Hospital of an illness. Mrs. Wheeler was employed for seven years with Fuel Cell Division of Uniroyal. She was born May 23, 1954, in Lakeview, Mich., and lived here most of her life.

On July 13, 1984, she married Dennis C. Wheeler. He survives, with two daughters, Michele Eckenberger and Angela M. Troup, both of Mishawaka; two granddaughters; her mother and stepfather, Arlene and Bill Fabyan of South Bend; her maternal grandmother, Rose M. Marburger of South Bend; and two brothers, James Spencer and Richard Spencer, both of South Bend.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home.
