William
F. West A Studebaker Corp. employee for 37 years,
612 E. Ohio St., died in St. Joseph Hospital at 11:55 am
Thursday. He had been ill two years. Mr. West came to
South Bend 43 years ago from Cincinnati, Ohio where he was born
Jan. 19,1901. He was married to Miss Marie Krugell in South
Bend, Feb. 12, 1937. He leaves his widow, a daughter, Patsy
Ann, his mother, Mrs. Jean West, South Bend, two brothers,
Clarence P, South Bend and Ray B., Culver City, Cal, and three
sisters, Mrs. Mabel Salter, Mrs. Eva Seese and Mrs. Mary
Martindale, all of South Bend. Friends may call in the
Forest G. Hay funeral home until services there at 1 pm
Saturday. Rev. J. Harold Gamble, pastor of First Baptist
church, will officiate. Burial will be in Highland
Cemetery.
Pallbearers will
be E.C. Jones, H. G. Davidson, W.E. Armour, I.G. Borsody, W. A.
Cottman, and W.W. Karczewski. Honoary pallbearers will be
Frederick and S.D. Davidson, Casimir Boznanski, Michael
Radanovich, C.A. Brugh and Floyd Rohrbaugh.
