William B. West, age 71, of 612 East Ohio Street, died at 1:43 o'clock this morning in his home after two years' illness.  He was born in Richmond, Indiana, May 19, 1862 and came here 22 years ago from Aurora, Indiana.  He was married in 1898 in Falmouth, KY to Jean McKenzie, who survives him.  He leaves three sons, William, Clarence and Ray; three daughters, Mary West, Mrs. Maybella Slater, and Mrs. Eva Seese, and four grandchildren, all of South Bend.

The body will lie in the residence Sunday and until 11:30 o'clock Monday morning when it will be removed to First Baptist church to lie until the funeral at 2:00 o'clock Monday afternoon in the church.  Rev. J. Burt Bouwman, pastor, will read the service, and interment will be in Highland Cemetery.
