Amy Wesolek, 68, passed away after suffering a long-term illness at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 26, in her home. She is survived by three sons, Michael of New Carlisle, Ind., Jeffrey of South Bend, Ind., and Robert of Lafayette, Ind.; eight grandchildren, Chris, Gena, Justin, Eric, Mitchell, Ashley, Kobe and Keagan; two sisters, Misako Meeker of Gulf Breeze, Fla., and Yoshisko Tatsuoka of Kobe, Japan; and by a brother, Junichi Yokoyama of Kobe. Amy was the wife of the late John Wesolek.

The family will be holding a private memorial service on Saturday, Dec. 6. Contributions may be made in her loving memory to Hospice of St. Joseph County or to the American Cancer Society. McGann Funeral Homes, Council Oak Gardens Chapel, 21275 W. Cleveland Road, was entrusted with arrangements.
