Janesville, Wis. – James Wenzel, 57, of 345 S. Randall Ave., formerly of Elkhart, died Sunday night at Mercy Hospital, following a lengthy illness.

He was born Dec. 13, 1921 in Elkhart. He married Eileen Haven Feb. 18, 1950 in Elkhart. She survives with one son, Tony at home, and four sisters, including Mrs. Esther Wright, Osceola, and three brothers, including Paul and Edward of Elkhart.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Schneider Funeral Home, Janesville. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. John’s Catholic Church.

He moved from Elkhart to Janesville in 1966, was a 1939 graduate of Elkhart High School, and a 1950 graduate of Marquette University, and was employed as financial manager for Mercy Hospital for the past 12 years.
