Frank S. Wentland

Frank S. Wentland, 83, of 1117 N. Brookfield St., died at 11:20 p.m. Monday in the Ridgedale Nursing Home after an extended illness. He was a retired Studebaker Corp. employee. Born Aug. 31, 1890, in South Bend, he had lived here all his life.  His wife, Clara, whom he married Nov. 14, 1936 in South Bend, survives. Also surviving are two sons, Joseph of South Bend and Benjamin of Michigan; two grandchildren; three brothers, William, Edward and Aloysius, all of South Bend, and two sisters, Mrs. Helen Skowronski and Mrs. Dorothy Mais, both of South Bend

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the St. Joseph Funeral Home. Services will be at 9 a.m. Thursday in St. Casimir’s Catholic Church. Rev. George H. Szymanowski, C.S.C., pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. A parish vigil service will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
