Mrs. Alice Wentland, 50, of 2629 Frederickson St., died at 11:15 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph’s Hospital after a brief illness. She was born in South Bend on July 31, 1915, and married on June 15, 1940 to Julius Wentland, who died on May 20, 1963. She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Martha Sirkorski; a daughter, Mrs. Sandra Drajer; a son, Ronald; two brothers, Aloysius and Sylvester Sikorski; and a sister, Mrs. Bernice Wozny, all of South Bend. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today in the St. Joseph Funeral Home. Services will be at 9 a.m. Thursday in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Rev. Sigmund A. Jankowski C.S.C., pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. She was a member of the Confraternity of the Holy Rosary and the Home & School Assn. of St. Stanislaus Church.
