SOUTH BEND - Peggy J. Wensits, 58, of Cassopolis, Michigan, passed away at 8:08 a.m. Saturday, April 19, 2008, in Hospice House, South Bend. Peggy was born on June 2, 1949, in South Bend, to Marvin and Jane (Rowe) Hauser.

On October 18, 1969, in South Bend, as Peggy Hauser, she married Robert E. Wensits, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Jodie (Scott) Temple of North Liberty; two sons, Robert J. (Wendy) Wensits of Jacksonville, FL, and James M. (Amy) Wensits of Flintstone, GA; seven grandchildren, Derrick, Allison, Haley, Brooke, Camryn, Ashlynn and Blake; a sister, Chris (John) Ivy of Keystone, FL; a brother, Michael (Sue) Hauser of Alberta, Canada; three nephews and seven nieces.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 23, 2008, in 1st Brethren Church, 4909 S. Ironwood Drive, South Bend. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 S. Kemble Avenue, South Bend.
