26, 1962 - Dec. 31, 2009SOUTH BEND - Edwin D. Wennerstrom, 47, of Logan Street, South Bend passed away at 2:49 a.m. Thursday December 31, 2009 at Memorial Hospital. Edwin has worked for Elkhart Products since 1997. He was born on May 26, 1962 in South Bend and has lived in this area all of his life. On March 2, 1996 in South Bend, he married Rebecca "Becky" (Law) Wennerstrom who survives. Also surviving is their daughter, Emily, Edwin's parents, Culver and Deloris (Lane) Wennerstrom of Mishawaka; mother in law, Dixie Ruch of Mishawaka; and a sister, Chris (Scott) Anderson of Mishawaka and their children Miranda and Samantha Anderson and Philip and Levi Danley. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Ave. South Bend, IN 46615. Rev. Jeffrey Marshall of Osceola United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday from 2 - 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Edwin graduated from Penn High School in 1981. He enjoyed hunting, camping, and working on cars and motorcycles. He built his own computer and enjoyed helping others. He loved playing the video game, City of Heroes...and Villians, according to Emily. Contributions in memory of Edwin D.
