WALKERTON - Harold D. Weller, 83, of 301 Virginia St., Walkerton, IN, passed away, Thursday, November 8, 2001 at 1:20 p.m. in Hospice House, South Bend, IN. Mr. Weller was born July 11, 1918, in Walkerton, IN., to Charles and Deborah (Amor) Weller and lived in the Walkerton area all of his life.

On September 4, 1948, in South Bend, IN, he was married to Marjorie Wishart. Surviving are his wife, Marjorie; two daughters, Darlene (Larry) Groves of LaPorte, IN., and Collette (Bill) Braden of Merrillville, IN; two sons, Charles (Laura) Harris of Elkhart and Robert Phillip Harris of South Bend, IN, along with 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was a farmer and a member of the United Methodist Church of Walkerton.

Funeral services will be Monday at 11 a.m. EST at the Walkerton United Methodist Church with Rev. James Evans Jr. officiating. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Walkerton. Friends may call Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. EST at the Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake Chapel and on Monday at the church one hour prior to services. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Marshall County or Real Services.
