Lewis H. (Cat) Weisweaver, 63, of 124½ Lincoln Way E., died at 5:20 p.m. Sunday in St. Joseph’s Hospital, South Bend, following an illness of one month. 

He was born on April 29, 1906, in Mishawaka, and had lived here all his life. 

He was employed by local 65, United Rubber Workers, for 10 years.  Surviving are two brothers, John W. and Thomas O. Weisweaver, both of Mishawaka, and a sister, Mrs. Jean A. Townsend of Boise, Idaho. 

Mr. Weisweaver was a member of the Father and Brothers auxiliary of Post 161, American Legion; Aerie 2083, Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Mishawaka-Penn Twp., Democratic Men’s Club. 

Friends may call in the Bubb Funeral Chapel after 7 p.m. today and until the time of services there at 1 p.m. Wednesday.  Rev. Raymond D. Harris, pastor of First Christian Church, will officiate, and burial will be in City Cemetery.
